WPG (TWSE:3702) Reports March 2020 Consolidated Sales of NT$54.02 Billion Hit Monthly Record High; First Quarter Consolidated Sales of NT$131.04 Billion also Hit Record High for the Period, +17.2% YoY
The digital platform and smart warehouse solution implemented by WPG, the largest distributor of semiconductor components in Asia, are gradually showing positive impacts. Benefited from memory price increase, and demand of laptop, PC and communication components, server and 5G components due to work-from-home and distance education policy in response to COVID-19 outbreak, WPG announces its March 2020 consolidated sales of NT$54.02 billion hitting monthly record high, represented 32.6% growth year-over-year. First Quarter 2020 consolidated sales NT$131.04 billion also reached record high for the period, represented 17.2% double digit growth year-over-year, continuing the trend from Fourth Quarter 2019.
To fit different customers’ data needs, WPGDADAWANT platform - WPGDADAJIA, WPGDADABANG and WPGDADAGO satisfy semiconductor components purchasing needs of large-size, medium-size, and small-size business respectively. With two years of implementation, WPGDADAJIA and WPGDADABANG have shortened the process time, reduced error rates, and speeded response time for customers’ requests.
